Overview

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) and the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County is seeking to expand current Maternal Fetal Medicine services with the addition of a full-time Maternal Fetal Medicine Attending. Kings County Hospital specializes in the diagnosis and management of obstetric, medical, surgical, and fetal complications of pregnancy. Offering advanced pregnancy ultrasound, consultations, genetic testing and counseling, fetal testing and support for high-risk pregnancies. The hospital is academically affiliated with SUNY Downstate Medical Center and trains their medical students and OBGYN residents.

Kings County Hospital is located in the East Flatbush/Prospect-Lefferts section of Brooklyn, close to the 2 and 5 subways. Our patients are diverse, with the majority being afro-Caribbean. Most of our patients are native English speakers. Knowledge of French/Haitian Creole is helpful, but not required.

Responsibilities
    Provides direct MFM care to patients
  • Inpatient and Outpatient setting
  • MFM procedures (eg amniocentesis, cerclage)

  • Outpatient coverage of the MFM Sono Unit and ambulatory practice

  • Overseeing the work of the MFM PA

  • Call coverage for nights and weekend MFM consultations

Qualifications
  • Board Certified in General Obstetrics & Gynecology
  • Board Certified or Eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine

  • Annual salary = $400,000 Board Eligible / $410,000 Board Certified status - The salary listed is for full-time employment and does not include any additional call pay or benefits.
