As the Brand Manager for Medical Marketing, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing effective medical marketing strategies and plans for our Derma brands, Eucerin and Aquaphor. Reporting to the Director, Medical Marketing, you will be responsible for marketing activities that are specific to healthcare professionals (HCPs) and essential to our business. You will collaborate with agencies and cross-functional colleagues to create, align, and execute strategic plans that accelerate recommendations of our brands within the medical community.

For local candidates: This role is based in Stamford, Connecticut under a hybrid work model and flexible scheduling, which is 3 days/week in office, on average. Additional business travel will be required, approximately 15-20% (including some weekends).

For remote candidates: This role has the option to be remote-based for the right candidate. Additional travel will be required which includes approximately one week per month to the Stamford, CT headquarters and/or travel to Medical Conferences, Sales Meetings, etc. Approximately 25% (including some weekends)

OVERVIEW:

  • Contribute to long-term brand strategy development for existing & new categories, including collaboration to identify opportunities with Dermatologists, Pediatricians, and other target HCPs in disease state areas and clinical data to support brand growth and profitable success
  • Implement Marketing plans and execution to meet brand's objectives
  • Develop communication platforms and creative via briefings, workshops, and agency collaboration
  • Work effectively across functions to develop and deliver Medical Marketing materials and Medical Sales support materials that drive strong execution
  • Leverage digital and social platforms to effectively engage and complement/extend reach across target healthcare audiences
  • Support the creation of best-in-class HCP campaigns that are insight-driven and translate science into relevant and compelling communications and programs
  • Track and analyze key Medical Marketing metrics, e.g. ProVoice, and continually improve plans to maximize impact
  • Utilize market research to deliver powerful insights across target HCP audiences as the basis for short and long-term brand growth
  • Collaborate strongly with global Medical Management teams to bring clinical relevance, impactful Medical Sales support materials and integrated digital impact based on local market
  • Responsible for initiation of content review process with Medical, Legal and Regulatory
  • Manage inventory of marketing materials, literature, product samples, and trades for your categories
  • Maintain Medical Marketing budget accountability, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of budget trackers including, but limited to, executing and processing PO's, invoice payments, and expense reports
  • Be the medical marketing leader and point of contact with all cross-functional (internal) teams including Consumer Marketing, Retail Sales, Finance, Supply chain, HCP Research, Shopper and customer marketing and external medical communication and creative agencies
  • Develop and manage medical activation via brand integrations, media plans, personal and non-personal medical communication, digital channels, etc.
  • Work closely with our fulfillment agency to ensure on-time and full supply of resources to meet the needs of our Medical Sales Team, e.g. marketing literature, samples, patient materials, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BS/BA in business or marketing within a medical related field. MBA with a focus in Marketing preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years brand management experience in Medical, Prescription or OTC; medical sales experience a plus
  • Capability to excel in fast-paced working environment
  • Knowledge of medical and skincare trends; understanding the science of skincare a plus
  • Experience working with the Professional/Key Opinion Leaders and supporting Medical Sales Teams
  • Strong knowledge of marketing principals, strategic thinking, and analytical skills.
  • Experience in financial analysis and strong skillset in P&L, SOI, and Budget management including PO execution, SOWs, and invoicing
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Must be results-oriented, organized, demonstrating the ability to influence and motivate others without direct line supervision
  • Proficient knowledge and use of MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to travel (25%, including some weekends)
