Position Summary
The Director, Solutions Lead - Finance partners with the Finance business units to ensure the successful rollout of all Finance projects, priorities, and business process redesign initiatives. Lead the NYU IT Financial application development and technical support teams. Develop status reports, identify, and track issues, keep Finance and NYU IT management abreast of all Finance projects, and serve as an information technology consultative resource to the administrative units. Develop and implement short and long-term strategic plans to meet the University's information technology and administrative services objectives. Optimize Financial applications and support processes to meet the business needs of the NYU community.
Qualifications
Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Education:
Master's Degree MBA, Master's degree or equivalent

Required Experience:
7+ years or more of professional level experience in project/ program management and business process redesign and 5+ years professional experience with a focus on Financial systems and processes.

Preferred Experience:
10+ years of understanding of Finance Business Needs, Systems and Processes. Prior experience in the Higher Education Industry.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Demonstrated expertise in financial systems, financial business processes, application development/support, integrations, and infrastructure in large-scale institutions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively and collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including senior leadership. Strong orientation toward service and collaboration. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to lead and establish direction in times of ambiguity.

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Agile/Scrum or PMP certification. Demonstrated expertise in PeopleSoft Financials and applications development and support.
Additional Information
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $160,000.00 to USD $200,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
