Reporting to the Chief of Staff in the Office of the CEO and President, the Board Manager will be the central manager for all efforts related to Enterprise's Board, primarily responsible for organizing the meetings and managing board engagement. Job Responsibilities:
Manage the execution of quarterly board meetings and committee meetings:
Support the Chair, CEO and Chief of Staff on the planning, strategic direction and execution of quarterly board meetings and regular committee meetings
Build and maintain organization-wide detailed annual project plan, coordinating action items across Enterprise staff
Draft memos, agendas, meeting materials and notes; compile and distribute board meeting materials
Coordinate with Events staff on siting and logistics for in-person meetings and receptions
Maintain all board related calendar appointments, including scheduling for the Board Chair
Develop and track strategies to continually optimize meetings
Manage Board Communication and Engagement
Support CEO and Chief of Staff on the strategic direction of board member recruitment, engagement and enhancement strategies
Track and ensure ongoing and regular engagement between CEO and board members
Serve as primary contact for board members and their support staff
Draft and maintain surveys, board newsletters and critical communications from management to board members
Develop strategies to maximize meaningful member engagement, including stewarding tailored programs
Track progression of candidates and prospects through recruitment process
Lead Management of Data and Record Maintenance
Build, maintain and track: member lists, attendance, records, fundraising, minutes and materials as repository in BoardEffect
Support Chief Legal Officer in tracking governance and compliance items requiring regular board action, including the maintenance of resolutions, required forms and minutes
Assess and optimize use of BoardEffect or other governance and project management related software tools
Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree is required with a minimum of 2 to 4 years of related project management experience
Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize between multiple and conflicting tasks and the adaptability to meet unforeseen demands in a fast-paced environment
Excellent writing and communications skills, including ability to synthesize complex information into clear deliverables
Strong interpersonal skills and judgment under stress and deadlines
Ability to work independently and as part of a team with initiative, persistence and a positive attitude
Ability to work and communicate with professionalism, tact and diplomacy with stakeholders at all levels internal and external to Enterprise
Ability to think creatively and embrace new approaches and technologies
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
Ability and willingness to travel at least two to three times annually for in-person Board meetings

The base salary for this role is $95,000 to $105,000, depending on level of skills and experience.
The salary range for this position is represented by the low and high end of the range for the amount to be paid for the position. Salaries paid at Enterprise will vary based on factors that may include skills, education, location, experience, and performance.
