The Identity & Access Management Engineer III is a key member of the Identity Access Management team responsible for the architecting, engineering and support of Availity's corporate and customer identity and access management systems. The role will focus on systems and tools associated with Identity Lifecycle, privileged access management, identity governance, access and entitlement reviews, single sign on, and overall access management. The IAM Engineer III will have the autonomy to leverage their experience and expertise to enforce the appropriate security controls in an auditable and manageable manner.

Role qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or other related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 5 years of experience in information technology and a minimum of 2 years of experience implementing Access Management solutions
  • Hands on experience managing and provisioning user accounts using Active directory
  • Experience with least privileged access solutions, such as Centrify Direct Control or Cyberark End Point Manager
  • Knowledge and support of SSO solutions (PingOne, PingFederate, Azure SSO)
  • Knowledge and support of MFA solutions (Azure MFA Services)
  • Intermediate or more understanding of Infrastructure support solutions (DNS, DHCP, Databases, Servers, Windows Server (2016 and up), Linux RHEL 6 and up
  • Experience working with systems (UNIX/Linux/Windows) and directories (LDAP/AD)
  • Experience with multi-factor authentication toolsets a plus.
  • Hands on experience with the implementation of Identity Management/Identity & Access Management products (i.e. Saviynt, and/or ForgeRock)
  • Experience with JavaScript, Python, PowerShell, or similar scripting languages.
  • Understanding of how to secure cloud-based solutions (e.g. PaaS, SaaS or IaaS).
  • Architecture and/or engineering experience with LDAP and Active Directory.
  • Excellent communication skills; must be able to interface with all levels.
  • Open-minded, adaptable and passionate about learning.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills; must be able to think outside the box, troubleshoot non-standard/undocumented issues, and have an overall understanding of the products being supported.
  • Strong familiarity with IT Data Security Architecture concepts.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance
  • Ability to work under pressure. Maintains composure and professionalism in an interrupt-driven environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple and changing priorities/tasks.
  • Must be flexible and embrace change
  • Must be detail oriented and thorough in documentation and communication.
  • Security+, GSEC, or equivalent security certification.

What you will be doing:

* Develop, maintain, and optimize scripts (Powershell preferred) to automate IAM routine tasks via API or other remote capabilities across Azure, Active Directory, O365.
* Manage and support IAM services within Azure/O365 and AWS cloud services.

* Collaborate with IT security teams to implement and manage Cyberark Cloud secrets management solutions for privileged access management.
* Support and continued maturity of IAM solutions, including identity lifecycle management, authentication, authorization, and federation services for platforms like Saviynt.
* Work with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide technical solutions that align with company objectives.
* Ensure compliance with security policies and practices, including the management of access controls and identity management systems.
* Document technical processes, configurations, and procedures for internal knowledge sharing and compliance purposes.
* Participate in the evaluation and integration of new technologies and tools to improve IT efficiency and security.
