This Opportunity

The Information Technology (IT) team is seeking an intern to join us to work various technology projects, including business process improvement, data analysis / mapping, and technology research. In this role, you will have the opportunity to broaden your background and apply your skills to solve real-world problems. If you have a strong analytical background and a keen interest in learning about technology, project management, and the pharmaceutical industry, this is the internship for you.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct business process research and gather information to gain a deeper understanding of customers and existing processes.
  • Work with project leaders to plan projects, maintain critical information, track deliverables, and coordinate related documentation.

* Participate and contribute to requirements gathering by interfacing with business stakeholders

* Assist with project communications, including communications to stakeholders and IT colleagues

  • Evaluate and provide business process improvements to reduce process complexity, increase process efficiency, increase process effectiveness, and enable speed of operational processes

Qualifications

Your Skills & Expertise

  • Current pursuit of a bachelor's degree in a technology major such as Computer Science, Engineering, Business Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Information Science, or similar

* Past internship experience or coursework in business process and/or data analysis

* Knowledge of technology systems and applications; knowledge of project management methodology and mechanics (SDLC, Waterfall, Agile) is a plus

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to learn quickly and apply learning to activities
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and team-oriented
  • Curious, creative mindset with comfort and ability to ask questions and seek answers as needed

* Ability to quickly learn, internalize, and utilize new information and processes

* Strong communication skills - written and verbal
