Job Description:

Are you passionate about sustainability and eager to make a meaningful impact? We are seeking a driven Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Assurance Engineer I to join our dynamic team. As an ESG Assurance Engineer, you'll spearhead the collection, analysis, and validation of the company's environmental data while supporting internal ESG initiatives, training programs, and sustainability communication efforts.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders across the company to ensure the timely, complete, and accurate compilation of global sustainability data sets.
  • Develop, prepare, and maintain custom reports and interactive dashboards within the company's ESG Portal.
  • Provide support for internal environmental audit processes and assist in coordinating external data verification procedures in compliance with industry standards and best practices such as ISO14064.
  • Address customer inquiries and requests pertaining to ESG information.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of sustainability communication strategies, both internally and externally, to raise awareness of the company's ESG efforts and engage stakeholders effectively.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field. Recent college graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Familiarity with ESG principles & standards, and sustainability practices.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint and the ability to create complex, visually optimized dashboards and presentations for diverse audiences.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated creativity and ability to foster engagement, such as history of involvement in and/or leadership of outreach initiatives.
