Lead Specialist - South Central

Position Overview:
As part of the North America Sales Department, the Lead Specialist for Laerdal Medical is an intricate part of the lead generation strategy to support sales growth. Digital marketing campaigns will be the primary source of leads that Lead Specialist will prequalify to ensure high quality leads are passed on to the sales team to close. Lead Specialist will also be required to acquire new leads by targeting prospecting and outbound call/emails.

Position Holder is Accountable For:

  • Achieve annual revenue target - directly associated to leads converted into orders
  • Communicate effectively with potential leads (external customers) and internal team members and stakeholders
  • Educate leads on value of Laerdal solutions
  • Warranty renewal focus
  • Engage with marketing through digital campaigns lead generation to drive potential customer into the lead funnel
  • Manage the lead generation funnel by effective lead follow up to move prospects to viable sales leads
  • Pre-qualify leads as defined by the sales process and provide warm hand off of qualified lead to appropriate sales member.
  • Proficiency and utilization of Salesforce
  • Exemplify behavior in line with Laerdal Values

Responsibilities:

  • Prospect, qualify and generate new leads to support the sales team
  • Collaborate with marketing to ensure alignment on process, objective, and outcome of digital marketing campaigns.With
  • Marketing identify areas for re-engagement campaigns by funnel stage
  • Effective, prompt and professional follow up with all Marketing leads to ensure a high volume of good quality leads are passed to sales to close.
  • Convey company mission and product solution in a comprehensive manner.
  • Implementation of SMISS methodology to engage leads
  • Deep understand marketing campaigns (who, what, why) and expected outcomes and goals
  • Utilize Salesforce to identify other sales activity within an account to avoid duplicated and/or to leverage.
  • Collaborate to help develop sales enablement tools that could help in pre-qual and upsell (one-sheets, videos, content, email templates, etc.)
  • Cultivate lead interest into buying into intent to purchase
  • Collaborate with Regional Directors in assigned territory.
  • Analyze and present lead pipeline reports and dashboards for sales and marketing teams identifying areas for continuous improvement
  • Work closely with marketing team to identify leads and segments that need further nurturing.

Requirements:

  • 2 years' experience in sales required; experience in inside sales, telemarketing, tele sales or marketing support experience in a medical service or life science selling environment preferred.
  • Candidate preferred to be located in the South Central sales territory (or willing to work hours within the South Central time zone).
  • Strong communication skills
  • Outgoing and friendly - able to quickly build profession rapport with individuals through various communication channels such as telephone and email
  • Minimum of 1 year in a professional selling role
  • Sales and Goal oriented
  • Self-starter and able to work without constant supervision
  • Ability to work individually and in a team
  • Bachelor's degree preferred - Associate degree supported by 5 years of sales experience acceptable.
  • Competent in Windows Office Suite of Products. Additional command a working knowledge of a CRM system and webinar software is preferred.

Salary Range: $55,000-$60,000, additional variable plan associated with the territory (up to $100,000 total comp)
