As a MLTC-Entitlement Specialist you will receive/review and complete Medicaid applications, renewals and deferrals. The position will require conducting home visits throughout Brooklyn, Queens and Manhattan.

Responsibilities

The Entitlement Specialist will ensure members Medicaid eligibility, recertification and RVI-3 conversions remains current. S/he will assist members with the necessary documentation that must be obtained within a specified timeframe needed for coverage and with establishing Pooled Income Trusts when necessary. The Entitlement Specialist will take the lead in resolving eligibility issues that may arise and ensure that the proper documentation has been forwarded to the different government agencies.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate must be a self-assured professional with an Associate or Bachelor's degree in healthcare or a related field. Previous Medicaid processing experience, familiarity with RVR3, Medicaid conversions, Pooled Income Trust and experience in establishing systems to track Medicaid cases are required. The candidate should have excellent computer, organizational and interpersonal skills and be a team player who can multi-task in a fast paced environment. Valid Driver's License and own form of reliable transportation for required home visits. Bilingual Spanish preferred

Compensation: min. $63,000 - max. $65,000 Annually
