Whatyou will do

This positionisresponsible for providingvision,leadershipand direction for the fireservice businessin thelocaldistrict office. Responsibilitiesincludesupervising fire/sprinkler/suppressionservice inspectors/technicians,developing businessstrategies,andimplementing action plans to meetthedistricts objectivesand driveprofitable growth of theFireServicebusiness,including embracing thecompany programs,identification oflifesafetydeficiencies andrecommendations.

In addition to supporting and overseeing inspections, the supervisor will be called upon to directly perform

inspections themselves. This further highlights the dynamic nature of the position, which can involve a range of responsibilities beyond inspections and is subject to change without notice.

Howyouwilldoit

  • Revenueresponsibility- Includingimplementingplans, programs and processesdesignedtomeet and exceedcorporate goals and objectives as well asmaximizingmarket potential oftheservice businessincluding new bookings(sales),revenue and profitability.
  • CustomerSatisfaction: Responsible formaintaining effectivecustomercommunications along withbuildingsolidcustomerrelationships frominitialcontact through order acquisition, delivery,installationandservice.
  • Ensurecontractualobligations are fulfilledwhile quicklyresolvingcustomercomplaintsconcerningserviceandcollectionissuesthereby minimizingcustomerconcerns and enhancingcustomerrelations.
  • Productivity Improvement:Ensure that fairand effective performance measurements are assigned and that employees are motivated to achieve and/or exceedtheir assigned goalsand objectives utilizingmanagementtoolsand practices.
  • Safety Compliance:Ensure that allemployeescomply withcorporatesafety programs. Responsible to ensure that
  • employeesafety trainingis thorough,complete, and upto date. Identifysafetyissues andhazards andnotifycorporatesafety office of thoseconditionsthatrequirecorrective action.
  • Perform scheduled inspections.

Whatwelookfor

Required

  • Demonstratesupervisory/leadershipabilities toinclude training, team building, presentation and negotiationskills, district administrationand effectiveinteractionwithcustomers.
  • Seven to tenyears of documented experience in the Fire Alarm, Sprinkler, Suppression industry performing service and repair to Fire Alarm Sprinkler and Suppression systems.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends to meet customer requirements. Valid Fire Alarm, Sprinkler, Suppression license.
  • Knowledge of test equipment, multi-meter, digital analyzer, and commissioning devices
  • Available forlocal/regionaltravel, which mayincludenights and weekendsto accommodatecustomer'sschedule.
  • Exhibit excellent customer service skills by consistently communicating with the district staff and customers to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Complete Service Acknowledgements with proper coding through communication devices, such as smart phones and laptop computers Obtain customer signature upon completed service call assignment.
  • Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and ability to learn quickly.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and driving record that meets company requirements.
  • Able to pass a pre-employment background and drug test.
  • Retain any licenses that are required by National, State and Local codes.

Preferred

  • NICET Level II certification
