Social Finance, LLC seeks Senior Staff Software Engineer in Seattle, WA:
Job Duties: Design and deliver resilient and scalable systems. Own and iterate on technical
solutions for product requirements and user stories with minimal supervision. Participate in code
reviews, drive design reviews. Generate ideas for new initiatives and technologies. Create best
practices and mentor other engineers on these best practices. Communicate engineering
concepts and efforts with outside stakeholders in product marketing, operations, business, legal,
and compliance. Work in a fast-moving, highly-collaborative environment across multiple offices
Telecommuting is an option.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science,
Engineering or closely related quantitative discipline and eight (8) years of progressively
responsible experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field.
Special Skill Requirements: (1) Data structures; (2) Algorithms; (3) Java; (4) Python; (5)
Distributed Systems; (6) Software architecture; (7) Bash; (8) IntelliJ; (9) Code Version Control;
(10) Automated Unit and Integration Testing. Any suitable combination of education, training
and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option.
