Job Summary

The role will lead product strategy, design, and development to build out the Foreign Exchange (FX) product suite to meet the needs of our global client base in the Cash Management business. This role will work closely with key stakeholders and partners to build alignment of FX product and client strategy, then develop product designs and roadmaps to execute on the strategy. A key part of the role will focus on the collaboration with Technology partners to ensure a successful build of platform capabilities. This role will also work closely with the Macro/Trading stakeholders within Capital Markets to co-create solutions for clients.

What is the Opportunity?

The role will lead product strategy, design, and development to build out the Foreign Exchange (FX) product suite to meet the needs of our global client base in the Cash Management business. This role will work closely with key stakeholders and partners to build alignment of FX product and client strategy, then develop product designs and roadmaps to execute on the strategy. A key part of the role will focus on the collaboration with Technology partners to ensure a successful build of platform capabilities. This role will also work closely with the Macro/Trading stakeholders within Capital Markets to co-create solutions for clients.

What will you do?

  • Develop product strategy, roadmap and design; work with key partner groups to build and deliver new products on roadmap for FX; Ensure strategy aligns with organization and department goals as well as supports client experience and needs.

  • Foster a deep partnership with Technology to build system capabilities at scale; Obtain buy-in and support from various key stakeholders - including senior management, partners, and committees.

  • Create a pricing strategy for FX, including standard pricing and exceptions.

  • Determine and manage Sales incentives for FX products; Manage and train junior talent within the FX team; Support sales teams in product training and collateral needs

  • Develop reporting and presentation for business and financial reviews with key stakeholders;

What do you need to succeed?

  • 10+ years of experience in FX product management or a related field; 5+ years of successively responsible leadership positions within a financial institution ;Prior experience in FX, Payments or Treasury preferred; Familiarity with Banking Products and Services ;Undergraduate Degree required, Masters Degree preferred.

  • Experience in executing projects/strategies across multiple stakeholders ;A firm grasp of specific trends impacting the banking industry with an overlay of knowledge of broader macro-economic trends; Ability to Balance Competing Priorities / Effective Time Management; Team player with strong interpersonal skills, leadership skills; Sets continually higher goals that are ambitious but realistic for self and team, geared toward organizational objectives.

  • Acts to surpass goals, seizing opportunities to push the envelope, is entrepreneurial, analytical and proactive; Strong leadership skills and proven record of leading cross-functional teams; Strong collaboration skills and ability to engage business partners (i.e. risk, compliance, technology) and navigate a highly matrixed environment; Effective and concise communicator at all levels, both verbal and written; Translates broad corporate strategies into clear, specific objectives and plans for units and businesses.

  • Understanding of different payment rails/capabilities; Relevant Banking regulations regarding payments and FX

The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $210,000 - $250,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate's experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs.This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
