Position Summary:

The Print Department of BET Networks is looking for an extremely talented and experienced Print Production Artist with the ability and interest to design and execute for print (and some web). As one of the world’s leading entertainment companies, our pace is fast but exciting. The designers at BET Networks are exceptionally proficient and often do not require production assistance. The candidate for this position needs to be able to wear the hat of graphic designer when production is not needed. BET Network’s print department produces a wide variety of marketing materials with national-and sometimes international-exposure.
Essential Job Duties:

Candidate will assist in the creative development and production of promotional collateral for all in-house clients.
Skills, Education And Experience:

Candidate must have an eye for detail, be highly organized and proficient in Illustrator and InDesign on the Mac platform.

An ability to maintain detail while juggling multiple tasks with immediate deadlines is a must.

Must posses advanced compositing and retouching skills in Photoshop. Experience in Flash and HTML is a big plus.

Attention to detail, excellent time-management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines on various projects simultaneously are critical assets.

Must be able to execute creative comps flawlessly, utilize their extensive knowledge of prepress techniques and technology to effectively communicate and manage delivery of files to vendors.

Proven experience interpreting and executing brand standard is a bonus.
Education:

A BA, BFA or MA degree in Graphic Design and minimum 2 years of professional studio experience is required.
